Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (Probationary) (Full-time, finishing in 18 Months)
This program is approved under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. In addition, it is in the process of being accredited by Accreditation Canadian.
The Robert Health Institute- Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (Probationary) provides students with cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavioral) competencies in accordance with Canadian Sonography NCP6.1, CMRITO Standards of Practice, and criteria of Accreditation Canadian. As a result, students can perform patient-centered health care of diagnostic medical sonography, including but not limited to the following competencies:
1) Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues verbally, in writing, and non-verbally.
2) Meet professional specifications established for national registration by the CMRITO, Sonography
Canada, Accreditation Canada, and CPSO for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
3) Function as an active member of the health care team.
4) Engage in lifelong learning and service.
